Injective (INJ) has quietly hit a major milestone this year. According to new data shared by House of Chimera, the network now has more than 78,500 daily active users, a new record for 2025. That is a 1,460% increase since the start of the year, showing that the Injective ecosystem is finally getting more attention from real users.
The growth is coming from several factors. DeFi activity on Injective is picking up, and the number of apps and integrations on the network continues to grow. New protocols are joining, and more users are interacting with the ecosystem every day. These are the kinds of signs long-term investors look for because real activity on a blockchain is harder to fake than short-term price spikes.
Injective Price Has Been Slow to React
Even with this strong network growth, INJ price has not had the explosive moves we’ve seen in some other altcoins this cycle. The token climbed from $8.50 earlier this year to just above $15 during the recent market recovery. Right now, INJ is trading aound $13.20, still far from its December 2024 bull market peak of $34.

This slow price action is part of why Injective has not been a big story in this bull run. Traders tend to chase tokens with faster pumps, and INJ has been moving more quietly. But on-chain growth like this can be a sign that fundamentals are improving, even if the market hasn’t fully noticed yet.

What It Could Mean for the Future
If Injective continues to grow daily activity, it could eventually draw more attention from traders and investors. Historically, price often lags behind real usage in blockchain projects. For now, INJ remains in a quiet phase. It is building a strong foundation with rising network adoption, but it will likely need a broader altcoin rally or a major Injective-specific catalyst to revisit the $30+ levels seen last year.
