20 things to keep in mind from GTA VI's second trailer

The second trailer for GTA VI gave us a wonderful glimpse of the game on PS5. Of course, these new images contain many details and other secrets that lead to speculation.
We’re going to focus on 20 points that seem interesting to us. Each one is linked to an illustrative image, which you’ll find at the bottom of this article. They are in order and can be read from left to right and then downwards.
-
Wild animals: the wildlife will be extremely active, whether in the wild or on the city streets. Iguanas, alligators, bobcats and raccoons can all be seen. Some will even go so far as to rummage through garbage cans.
-
Pets: a snake in a vivarium can be seen at Jason and Lucia’s home. Several NPCs are also seen with dogs, cats or iguanas around their necks.
-
Ammu-Nation: the legendary gun store will be making a comeback, as evidenced by a TV commercial. Owner Phil Cassidy will still be there!
-
Secondary activities: fishing, basketball, cage fighting, scuba diving and billiards appear in the trailer. We’ll even be able to drink alcohol and end up in a state of inebriation.
-
Musculature: as in GTA San Andreas, Jason will probably be able to engage in physical activity and we’ll possibly get to see his physique change as a result.
-
Gaming: a fake PS5 appears in Jason and Lucia’s home. Can we assume that it will be possible to play real little video games directly in GTA VI?
-
Vehicles: in addition to the traditional cars, we’ll be able to take control of boats, jet-skis, helicopters, bikes, motorcycles and quads. Will we even be able to pilot the imposing airliners?
-
Parody: advertisements and other parody brands will be part of the game. A fake lottery, “Patriot” beers, “Fizzazz” sodas and more can be seen.
-
Different views: as in GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, the FPS view will be offered in this sixth opus. Here, Jason appears to be driving in first-person view.
-
Almost imperceptible transitions: it’s very brief, but when Jason walks through the door of the building at the beginning of the video, there seems to be a fluid transition between the cinematic and the gameplay sequence.
-
Dynamic events: the state of Leonida is set to be a lively one. The player will be able to attend numerous AI-driven events. These include police street arrests, city-wide parties and wild street races.
-
Personalization: The trailer also highlights the many outfits the playable characters will get to wear. These range from simple tank tops to evening dresses, swimsuits and overalls.
-
Means of transport: Vice City has no shortage of means of locomotion. Buses are everywhere, and an aerial metro can also be used.
-
On the water: although boats are generally the preferred means of transport, canoeing upstream is also a possibility.
-
Listening to music at all times: Lucia wears wireless headphones in several images. Our avatar could therefore be able to listen to the game’s best tunes without being in her car.
-
Return of certain locations from GTA Vice City: references to the opus launched on PS2 in 2002 should be numerous. Already, the Ocean View Hotel can be seen on one of the screenshots shared by Rockstar.
-
Politics: one of the most sensitive subjects of all, politics will have its rightful place in GTA VI. Traditional election signs litter some of the city’s sidewalks. Here, the election of a new mayor is underway.
-
A map available from the start?: Another image reveals that bridges will sometimes be raised. While this may only be to let boats pass, is it possible to imagine that, as in the PS2 entries, the entire map might not be explorable from the start?
-
Social networks: the first trailer was already clear on this subject. Social networks will play a very important role in GTA VI. Characters will get to film and share their creations on these fictitious sites. Could Rockstar go so far as to create a whole new social network for the purposes of the game?
-
Hair: in several images, we can see that Jason sports a variety of hairstyles and even hair growth that seems to evolve over time. Players will no doubt be able to customize the physical appearance of both protagonists over the course of the adventure.
