Child killed and three others injured in horrific crash in Nullica

A child has died and three others have been injured in a shocking crash on Tuesday afternoon.

A dual cab ute and a truck collided on Towamba Rd in Nullica, on the NSW south coast, just after 4.10pm.

Emergency services arrived to find a six-year-old boy, who had been a passenger in the ute, had died at the scene.

Two others in the ute — a man aged in his 30s and a three-year-old girl — suffered what police described as “multiple injuries”.

An eight-year-old girl in the same car was also taken to South East Regional Hospital at Bega.

The truck driver, a man believed to be in his 50s, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing and for treatment for the effects of shock.

Towamba Rd is expected to be closed well into the night as police look into the crash.
