1,000-Lb Sisters Star Tammy Slaton's Shock At Seeing Skin Surgery Transformation For The First Time Is PRICELESS: 'I Feel So Weird'
Tammy Slaton is sporting a new look!
As we’ve been following, the 1000-Lb Sisters star has been making big strides in her weight loss journey over the past few years. After finally qualifying for and receiving weight loss surgery, the reality TV personality has gone on to surpass several of her goal weights. Her most recent step has been getting rid of all that extra skin!
Of course, after losing over 500 pounds (!!!), she was waiting to get rid of some of the loose skin she was left with. See for yourself (below):
We already know she successfully had the procedure thanks to her social media! But in the newest episode of her TLC show, which premiered on Tuesday night, we finally got to see what happened! And how Tammy reacted to first seeing her new look!
As Tammy was preparing to go under the knife, her plastic surgeon Dr. J. Peter Rubin said they had over a dozen people operating on the 38-year-old at once. Alongside her family, Tammy became emotional as they all prayed for her surgery to go well. See that nervous moment (below)!
Luckily all went according to plan — and the results look AH-Mazing!

Tammy’s brother Chris Combs said:
“Honestly, I’m hoping Tammy sees a new person in that mirror. She’s put all this work in to lose all this damn weight, so it’s time for her to feel good, too, about herself.”
The elder Slaton sister laid in a hospital bed as doctors began to remove the bandages covering her face, before giving her the big reveal. Upon seeing herself in the hand-held mirror, she said in surprise:
“Boy…”

Incredible! She’s so happy with the results too. But of course she couldn’t help but be Tammy about it! She said in a confessional:
“I’m shocked, like I feel so weird. I don’t have my hanging ball sack off my face.”
OMG! She did not just say that! LOLz! She continued:
“My bat wings are gone, too. And I look down, and there’s nothing there but my lap now. It’s gonna take a little while for me to get used to seeing myself like this.”
Aww… Way to go, Tammy! We’re so happy for her.
