2025 has already been filled with tragic celebrity deaths. One of the year’s earliest losses in Hollywood was Aubrey Plaza’s husband, Jeff Baena, who died by suicide at 47 years old on January 3, TMZ reported.
General Hospital star Leslie Charleson’s death at 79 years old was confirmed by the show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, on January 12.
Michelle Trachtenberg later died at the age of 39 on February 26. That same day, Gene Hackman, his wife, Betsy Arakawa, and their dog were found dead in their home. On March 3, Dolly Parton announced that husband Carl died at the age of 82. Three days later, TMZ reported that David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff had died by suicide.
On March 8, it was announced that Luxembourg’s Prince Frederik had died at age 22.
