CD Projekt RED won't say whether a Switch 2 upgrade is planned for The Witcher 3

In October 2019, CD Projekt RED released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Switch. It was a port that, despite its clearly worse graphical and technical quality, was almost a miracle.
With the Switch 2 launching on June 5, some gamers wondered whether the Polish studio planned to optimize its excellent RPG for the new machine. Speaking to Eurogamer, Filip Downar, who is a technical design expert at CD Projekt RED, simply said that his teams are focused on porting Cyberpunk 2077.
"Our relationship with Nintendo goes back to the original Nintendo Switch, where we released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We were happy with how that game was received by players so, when we heard about the more powerful Nintendo Switch 2, we immediately thought it would be the perfect platform for Cyberpunk 2077."
There’s no word yet on whether Geralt’s latest adventures will benefit from an upgrade on Switch 2.
