Box Office ‘Revenge Of The Sith’ $3M+ Thursday, ‘Accountant 2’ Counts $2.5M From Previews

Disney’s re-release of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith could upset the box office chart this weekend, the movie banking $3.4M in previews last night ahead of its limited one-week engagement. We had heard the pic, which has had limited promotion, mostly in-theater, has $20M+ in presales. Does it force Amazon MGM Studios’ The Accountant 2 out of No. 2?

Meanwhile that Ben Affleck Artists Equity feature did $2.5M from all previews including an April 15 “Tax Day” screening.
