Just before the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom has given players quite an important indication. The publisher has taken to social networks to ask everyone to download an update.
A patch of around 15 GB must be downloaded in order to enjoy the game in its physical edition. For their part, users with a digital edition can start downloading the famous update now.
It’s quite surprising to hear Capcom say that this patch "is required to play". We don’t know whether the game will just don’t launch without the download, or whether there are too many bugs still.
