Candiace Dillard-Bassett’s Journey on Reality TV –

Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dillard-Bassett has opened up about her decision to walk away from the show.
Candiace joined the show during its third season, which premiered in 2018, and remained a full-time cast member for six seasons until her exit last year.
“When I found out I was pregnant, there wasn’t even a thought in my mind. It was like, ‘Well, we’re gonna step away,”” she said on the Healed Girl Era podcast with Gia Peppers.
She continued, “And I went through the whole reunion because we weren’t ready to announce that I was pregnant yet, and I had been asked to dial back at the reunion. Meanwhile, on the other side, they were dialed up and coming at me at level 27. So it was like, was I told this so that they could be told that so that they could look one way and I could look one way, or did they just not follow directions?”
Before her exit, Candiace clashed with Gizelle Bryant, who made allegations that her husband, Chris Bassett, had made her feel “uncomfortable.”
Her journey to conceive had been documented on the show and fans were not shocked when she decided to walk away.
