Bungie presents the Star Wars collaboration and the Renegades and Edge of Fate expansions
Sadly (for Bungie at least), all the news of this Tuesday, May 6, 2025 got overshadowed by the new trailer for GTA VI. However, that didn’t stop the American studio from revealing what’s coming next to Destiny 2.
Starting with the next major piece of free-to-play content: we got a brief teaser for Renegades. The full reveal will take place on September 9, with a release date of December 2025.
In addition, we were able to discover the Star Wars-themed Dark Side Legends Armor Ornament Bundle. These items are included in the Ultimate Edition of Destiny 2: Year of Prophecy.
Rite of the Nine is also available today, featuring three dungeons, with three different modes to play, all to get rewards.
Finally, let’s close with the arrival of the Destiny 2: Edge of Fate expansion on July 15, 2025. Here, players will discover the secrets of Kepler and face the cosmic force that pulls the strings of your destiny.
