We’re beginning to get a clearer picture about the new version of Bethesda Game Studios’ RPG. Several images of the game have appeared on Bluesky thanks to a leak from the official website of Virtuos, the studio developing the remake.
This version is presumably called The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. A image shows a comparison between the 2006 game and the one due for release this month. The graphics hav been greatly improved, no doubt thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 5.
It was stated on the Virtuos site that the remaster is being created in collaboration with Bethesda, with teams from Bethesda Game Studios Rockville and Dallas working on the project. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is scheduled for PS5, Xbox Series and PC. A Deluxe Edition is also expected.
