Brit Eady Sues Bravo for $20M Over RHOA Episode Scandal

Brit Eady Sues Bravo Over Shocking RHOA Episode Incident

*Brit Eady, a new face on Season 16 of *The Real Housewives of Atlanta*, has filed a $20 million lawsuit. The legal action targets Bravo, NBCUniversal, and production companies Truly Original and Endemol Shine North America.

The lawsuit was filed on June 5, 2025, in the New York State Supreme Court. It stems from a disturbing June 6, 2024, taping that later aired in Season 16, Episode 5, titled “About Last Night.”

Kenya Moore’s Poster Stunt Sparks Legal Battle

During the taping, Eady brought flowers to make peace with Kenya Moore. Instead, Moore presented a board titled “Who Is This Ho?” showing blurred explicit images allegedly of Eady.

The images were shown to about 200 guests at Moore’s spa opening. Eady wasn’t present, but the episode’s editing implied she was the woman depicted.

Eady Denies Claims and Calls Episode Defamatory

Brit Eady later denied being the woman in the explicit photos. She revealed on Instagram that she only recently saw the images and confirmed they weren’t of her.

She claims producers refused her repeated requests to view the images before the episode aired. She accuses Bravo of airing the episode knowing – or recklessly ignoring – that the photos were not of her.

Brit Eady’s $20 Million Lawsuit: What She Wants

Eady’s legal demands are clear and firm. She wants the episode removed from all platforms immediately and a public apology from Bravo and production companies.

She is also seeking at least $20 million in damages for defamation, emotional distress, and fostering a hostile work environment.

She also wants:

  • Immediate removal of Episode 5
  • Public acknowledgment that the images were false
  • At least $20M in compensatory and punitive damages
  • Legal fees and potential default judgment

Kenya Moore Suspended After Controversial Episode

Kenya Moore was suspended indefinitely after the episode aired. Bravo later confirmed they had stopped filming with her due to the incident.

Moore was absent from the season’s reunion special. She issued an apology online on June 5, expressing regret and denying the incident was revenge porn.

Bravo and Cast Reactions Raise More Questions

Bravo has not released a public statement on the lawsuit. Andy Cohen, however, tweeted, calling the situation “petty,” leading to online speculation he was referencing Eady’s claims.

Castmates like Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora called Moore’s stunt “too far.” Some guests walked out during filming, showing their shock and disapproval, Bossip is reporting.
