Brad Pitt reveals these 2 costars left him starstruck

It’s hard to imagine anyone making Brad Pitt starstruck nowadays. But back in 1991, the rising A-lister was stunned by his Thelma & Louise costars.

Appearing on the New Heights podcast, hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce, the Oscar winner revealed that working with Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon made him fanboy.

“I got over it quickly, though,” Pitt said, ever the professional.

Thelma & Louise is widely considered a feminist landmark and it has a cult following that persists to this day. It was also Pitt’s breakout film role. In the movie, he plays the conniving J.D., who sleeps with and then robs Thelma (Davis).

Davis previously told Entertainment Weekly that she had given her input on J.D.’s casting and felt she had good chemistry with Pitt. Sarandon added that Pitt was one of the few actors who had “the curiosity to not just coast in on their good looks” but rather “approached a lot of their leading men as character parts.”

Pitt, of course, has been booked and busy since Thelma & Louise, starring in hits like Fight ClubOcean’s Eleven, Inglourious Basterds, and most recently F1.
