NVIDIA is said to be working on the RTX 5070 SUPER and 5080 SUPER with 18 GB and 24 GB GDDR7

NVIDIA could be working on the first SUPER variants of the RTX 50 series with 3 GB GDDR7 modules. Following the arrival of the RTX 5090 Laptop using this format, the RTX 5080 SUPER for desktop PCs would offer 24 GB of memory thanks to eight 3 GB modules on a 256-bit bus.

An RTX 5070 SUPER is also in development, with 18 GB capacity based on six modules. This change in configuration was not expected for this model.

The use of 3 GB modules could also enable other cards, such as the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, to be upgraded by increasing their memory capacity to 12 GB.

No release date has yet been announced. NVIDIA could present these updates towards the end of 2025 or at CES 2026.
