We’re about to experience one of the biggest console launches in the history of video games. Nintendo is said to be preparing several million Switch 2 units to meet consumer demand.
According to several analysts, between 6 and 8 million machines could be produced for the launch scheduled for June 5. Nintendo could thus beat Sony’s PS4 and PS5, which each sold around 4.5 million units in their first two months on the market.
In Japan, the Japanese manufacturer has already stated that, despite its forecasts, not everyone will be able to pre-order the Switch 2. In fact, 2.2 million people have registered for the draw to be able to buy the console.
