With the next Battlefield, DICE is set to put the PS5 Pro to good use. A tester taking part in the Battlefield Labs program has reported that the game features a mode with a higher-than-average framerate.
The main interested party reports having been able to enjoy a frame rate of between 100 and 110 FPS, with occasional drops to 80 FPS, on PS5 Pro. The framerate remained relatively stable, at around 100 FPS, despite the numerous destructions on screen.
At times, framerates even reached 120 FPS on Sony’s machine. This was the case in quieter phases and during infantry battles. We’ll have to wait and see whether or not DICE will end up including this display mode on PS5 Pro when Battlefield 6 is released.
