Ballistic Moon, the studio behind the remake of Until Dawn, has finally shut down

Last October, Until Dawn was given a facelift with a new version released on PC and PS5. It was produced by Ballistic Moon and is likely to be the studio’s last game.
Insider Gaming reports this week that the British company has closed up shop. By September 2024, around 40 people had already been made redundant. The remainder of the team had then set about the task of providing patches for Until Dawn. Then, in December, another 20 employees were let go. As a result, there were almost no developers left, making it impossible to fix the latest problems with the remake.
After failing to propose various projects to investors, Ballistic Moon closed up store. Former employees feel that the working environment at the studio was very pleasant. An official announcement is expected soon.
