BAFTA TV Awards 2025: See All The Winners
Some of the UK’s biggest stars packed London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, May 11, for the BAFTA TV Awards, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ night to honor the best and brightest small screen offerings broadcast the year before.
The biggest story of the evening might be Jessica Gunning‘s awards season sweep. The Baby Reindeer star has previously taken home an Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG award for her portrayal of the menacing yet sympathetic Martha Scott, and tonight she made it a foursome with her best supporting actress win.
Gunning’s trophy was the sole score for Baby Reindeer, which with four nominations had led the pack of contenders. Also with four noms was Baby Reindeer‘s best limited drama competitor, Mr Bates Vs The Post Office. That true life tale about the British Post Office scandal took home the limited drama crown, its single triumph at the event.
Other wins of note: Emmy record-breaker Shōgun won the prize for international offering, beating out a diverse set of options including dog-focused Australian rom-com Colin From Accounts and HBO’s True Detective: Night Country. Meanwhile, Belfast-set BBC police procedural Blue Lights was named best drama, after two seasons of growing critical acclaim.
Hosted by Alan Cumming, the show wasn’t broadcast live—instead, viewers in the UK watched an edited version of the show on BBC One starting at 2 p.m. ET, while folks in the US are able to stream the ceremony on-demand as of 2 p.m. ET via Britbox.
