Even before the game’s official launch on May 30, FromSoftware has released patch 1.01 for Elden Ring Nightreign. The Japanese studio is asking players to download it before starting the game.
In broad terms, the update brings improved management of playable characters, adjustments to the soundtrack and texts, and better overall balancing. Bugs have also been corrected.
The press release also states that framerate drops have been noted on PCs equipped with the latest graphics cards. The developers say they are investigating the cause of this malfunction. To temporarily resolve the problem, we recommend changing the graphics settings from High to Medium or Low. Lowering the screen resolution and installing the latest graphics drivers also seem to work.
