Who wore it best?
Adam DeVine committed a bit of a Tonight Show fashion faux pas this week when he inadvertently wore an incredibly similar outfit to the evening’s previous guest, Vince Vaughn — and then immediately called himself out for it.
Sitting down with host Jimmy Fallon, the Righteous Gemstones star quipped, “I am a stud, aren’t I? I realized I’m wearing the exact same thing Vince Vaughn was wearing. Like, I’m wearing the identical — this guy’s my fashion guycon, apparently.”
DeVine added, “‘Sup, Vince, I see you, lil’ fashion boy. Yeah, he’s my guycon.”
DeVine and Vaughn both wore a charcoal blazer with matching pants and a dark T-shirt underneath, though DeVine’s shirt was black and Vaughn’s was more of a navy blue.
Elsewhere in the interview, DeVine reflected on recently becoming a father. “It’s the best,” he said of parenting his 14-month-old son, Beau. “I love it more than I thought I was gonna like it. It turns out it is a lot, though. I kinda thought it was gonna be chill, like he’d just sorta chill on the couch next to you. But this little guy is needy. You have to feed him all the time, and then he cries and you have to be like, ‘What’s your deal?’ He’s so emo!”
The Workaholics alum said that he and his wife “try not to let him watch too much TV,” but revealed that he sometimes slips up when he’s alone with his son. “My wife walked in on me watching the Menendez brothers show [Monsters],” he said. “They get blown up by shotguns, and I’m like, ‘He’s too young to remember this, right? Don’t do that to Daddy!'”

DeVine also shouted out Sesame Street‘s Elmo as one of his son’s favorite entertainers. “I didn’t realize I could do a pretty decent Elmo [impression] until I had him,” the actor explained. “Because he doesn’t like to listen to me or do the things I would like for him to do.”
The actor then showed off his Elmo voice, which he uses to communicate more commandingly with his son. “Now I go, ‘Hi Beau, it’s me, Elmo. I’ve taken over control of your daddy’s body. Elmo’s your daddy now,'” DeVine said. “And he’s like, ‘Cool, I dunno if I like that guy that much. He’s always telling me to not lick shoes.'”

Fallon recommended that DeVine meet Elmo on Sesame Street. “Do an impression for Elmo and teach him what an impression is,” the host suggested.
DeVine speculated that displaying his Elmo impression around the actual Elmo puppeteer might not go over well. “He just smacks me,” he joked. “He takes off the head, he’s like, ‘That’s my s—,’ don’t you come for my job.”
