According to the latest rumors, Sony is working on a new version of the PS5 Pro upscaler

According to insider Moore’s Law is Dead, Sony is working on an improved version of its PSSR upscaler for the PlayStation 5 Pro. This new model would use a lighter neural network to improve image quality at resolutions lower than the current 864p.

The aim would be to stabilize 4K at 120 FPS and even offer 8K at 60 FPS, all while adding support for 1080p and 1440p at 120 FPS. Sony has yet to confirm this info, but this new upscaler could also be integrated into the PlayStation 6.
