According to MindsEye's studio, those who posted negative reviews were paid

Despite a decent marketing campaign, MindsEye has yet to fully convince the press. The first previews were quite negative, due in particular to numerous bugs and limited AI.

These criticisms are not going down well, and are giving rise to an impression of conspiracy on the part of Build A Rocket Boy executives. Indeed, Mark Gerhard, the studio’s co-CEO, believes that the people giving negative reviews of the game have been paid to do so. He says he’s 100% certain that "everyone who gave negative feedback was paid by someone ".

Gerhard even said that you don’t have to think too hard to find out who’s behind this . The co-CEO gave no further details. It’s hard to know whether he’s referring to Rockstar Games, since Leslie Benzies, the founder of Build A Rocket Boy, left the starry company amid a legal dispute.

Finally, Mark Gerhard ended his explanation on Discord by going even further in his accusations.

"I just said there’s a concerted effort by some people who don’t want to see Leslie or Build A Rocket Boy succeed and are making a concerted effort to denigrate the game and the studio. It’s pretty easy to see the bots and repeated responses to any content we publish."
