In this Abiotic Factor Far Garden Walkthrough, we’ll tell you how to make your way through the first Portal World you’ll encounter in the GATE Facility.
Abiotic Factor Far Garden Walkthrough
You’ve finally gone through your first portal in Abiotic Factor. When you get to the other side, you’ll see a new debuff:
“Some of your equipment isn’t yet calibrated to this new portal world.”
This isn’t relevant at this point in the game. Much later, you’ll be able to get a Jetpack; this debuff prevents items such as the Jetpack from working until you’ve completed a Portal World for the first time.
Move forward in this new Portal World called Far Garden and you’ll see an odd purple plant with an alien creature in the distance.
This plant is Anteverse Wheat. Make sure to grab it as you’ll need some of it later.
The enemy up ahead is an Exor Monk. It has a melee attack and a ranged energy beam attack; Exor Monks can also teleport. You can rush it and kill it with a few hits from your Makeshift Spear. If it starts charging up an energy attack, circle strafe around it to avoid the blast.
Should you die, you’ll have the option to respawn at the start of the Portal World. There are a total of two Exor Monks in Far Garden. Kill both of them, then thoroughly explore Far Garden and grab all of the Anteverse Wheat that you can find.
Aside from the Anteverse Wheat and Exor Monks, there are some other items of note to grab in here. First up is a dead scientist stuck in an orange plant; he has a Geiger Counter in his hands that you can take.
Keep moving ahead and you’ll come across a computer with a hologram of Dr. Manse. Play the hologram to learn more about the world.
Look behind the computer with a hologram and you’ll see a Forklift Replica. This has no gameplay use, but it’s a cool decoration that you can put in your base.
Just behind this computer is a pond.
There’s nothing of value in this pond, but you can come back here later and go fishing in it if you wish.
Far Garden can also have Natural Beehives, but you don’t want to mess with them until you get your hands on a Beekeeper’s Suit a little later. Otherwise, that’s about it for Far Garden.
Turn to the right of the pond and you’ll see another portal. Walk through it and you’ll be deposited into an unfamiliar location. Click here to continue where you left off in The Office Sector Walkthrough!
