Last December, Epic Games filed a complaint against a player who had cheated during an official Fortnite tournament. The user had used illicit software and multiple accounts to try and avoid being caught.
In the end, the judge sided with the American company, and the player in question will have to pay a fine of $175,000. Epic Games has agreed to donate the entire amount to charity. The user is also banned from Fortnite for life.
