Flappy Bird is back on mobile devices… and without crypto

After being gone for over a decade, Flappy Bird has finally returned to mobile devices. For the moment, the game is exclusive to Android devices via the Epic Games Store.
This new version is brought to you by the Flappy Bird Foundation, which is itself headed by Michael Roberts. Gamers had pointed to the fact that Roberts is also the owner of 1208 Productions, a company specializing in cryptocurrency.
However, the company has stated that Flappy Bird will not feature Web3 elements. The game will be monetized via ads and other traditional methods such as microtransactions. Web and desktop versions of Flappy Bird are planned as well.
