id Software has addressed PlayStation gamers with a new video dedicated to DOOM: The Dark Ages captured on PS5 Pro.
Here, Hugo Martin, the game’s director, reveals the Cosmic Realm, an area that will appear for the first time in the franchise’s history. Its cyclopean architecture recalls the spirit of Lovecraft. Fearsome enemies include the Cosmic Baron and the immense Cacodemon. A weapon from another dimension called the Reaver Chainshot will help us slaughter these monsters from the underworld.
The idTech 8 engine used for DOOM: The Dark Ages delivers stunning graphics and even more content to the screen. All with extremely smooth 60 FPS performance.
DOOM: The Dark Ages will be released on May 15. Players who purchase the Premium Edition will be able to play the game from May 13.
