The Palworld romance game, which was an April Fool's joke in 2024, could end up becoming real

In a few hours’ time, video game studios, publishers and other media will be offering us more or less credible April Fools’ Fools’ announcements. Last year, Pocketpair announced a fake romance game based on Palworld.

A year later, this weird concept may end up coming true, as a Steam page for Pal♡world! ~More Than Just Pals~ has been posted online. The description states that the player will embody a protagonist transferred to the Palpagos Private Academy. There, he’ll experience friendship and love stories with Pals.

We’re not going to lie, bad taste is the focus here. As to whether the game is real, it’s a little early to say. But since it’s now possible to wishlist the title, we assume that the project will come to fruition… or that the joke’s ended up going too far!
