ASUS has confirmed the existence of the Ryzen 7 9700F, an 8-core AM5 processor based on the Zen 5 architecture and without an integrated graphics chip.
This is the first model in the 9000 series to completely disable the iGPU, a feature unique to the F variants so far.
The 9700F has a TDP of 65W and a base frequency of 3.8 GHz, identical to that of the 9700X. That said, it will require a dedicated graphics card to function.
Its estimated price is around $250, which would place it between the 9600X and the 9700X.
