Acecraft: Skyhero opens pre-registration for the rubber hose animation co-op shoot ’em up

Skystone Games has opened pre-registration sign-ups for Acecraft: Skyhero, the studio’s two-player shoot ’em up that’s coming to iOS and Android. Designed for mobile, this co-op romp through the skies will have you going on arcade dogfights in the air with your trusty bestie by your side.
I tend to be a very visual person, and as far as shmups go, this one does look absolutely appealing, mainly because of its Cuphead-esque aesthetic. In Acecraft: Skyhero, you’ll either join forces with your best buds or make new ones via online matching. Then, you’ll need to coordinate the best dodges and timed firepower to combo up and go for the kill.
As the screen fills up with overwhelming enemies and hordes of pesky Nightmare Legion foes, you can unleash power-ups to deal some devastating damage, all presented with classic rubber hose animation.
It seems that it’s got that nostalgic flair down pat with its classic cartoon vibes, but if you don’t feel like chilling and are looking for something more hardcore, the challenge mode should pit your skills against others across the globe in speedrun leaderboards and elite tiers for the ultimate bragging rights.
In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Acecraft: Skyhero on Google Play and on the App Store. It’s free-to-play with in-app purchases, with an expected launch date of August 28th. Do take that with a grain of salt though, as these things often change without further notice.
Signing up during the pre-registration phase will also reward you with launch goodies such as limited skins and bonus gear.
