While the Samsung 990 Evo Plus isn’t up there with the best of them if you’re looking for the quickest PCIe 5.0 speeds, it’s still one of the fastest PCIe 4.0 SSD options around, and a steal at this price.

That’s the same bandwidth a PCIe 4.0 M.2 drive over four lanes might offer, meaning there isn’t any advantage to using this drive in a faster PCIe 5.0 slot.
