- MobLand tells the blood-streaked tale of London’s criminal Harrigan enterprise and their loyal fixer, Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy).
- After a successful debut, Paramount+ ordered a second season of the crime drama in June 2025.
- Season 2 looks to explore shifting loyalties in the family as various Harrigans jockey for power.
We’re not the only ones flocking to MobLand, the Paramount+ series about warring mob families that debuted to massive numbers in March 2025.
According to Paramount, the modern crime saga quickly established itself as the second-most-watched series on the platform after Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, racking up a whopping 26 million viewers across its 10-episode debut season.
MobLand‘s A-list cast — led by Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren — drew many of those viewers, but Ronan Bennett and Jez Butterworth’s gripping and bullet-riddled story about the warring, London-based Harrigan and the Stevenson clans kept audiences glued to the screen.
Season 1 wrapped in June 2025 with an ambush, a pile of dead bodies, and plenty of story left to tell. So, will there be a second season of MobLand? What will it be about? And when is it coming out? Read on as we share everything we know about MobLand season 2 on Paramount+.
Will there be a season 2 of MobLand?

Yes, MobLand was renewed for a second season in June 2025, just weeks after airing its season 1 finale.
“We are elated to greenlight a second season of this global phenomenon, which has dominated both domestic and international charts and soared to #1 in the United Kingdom,” said Paramount head Chris McCarthy in a press release.
What will MobLand season 2 be about?
Luke Varley/Paramount+
Season 1 of MobLand wrapped with the Harrigan clan delivering a fatal blow to the Stevensons, despite the family’s heads, Conrad (Brosnan) and Maeve (Mirren), being locked up in prison. But there’s more trouble brewing much closer to home. Conrad and Maeve’s son Kevin (Paddy Considine) is plotting his own takeover of the empire, and season 2 seems poised to focus on how he can exploit the fissures already forming in the Harrigan family.
Eddie (Anson Boon), meanwhile, is considering his own future in the family after learning that Conrad, not Kevin, is his real father. This realization brings him closer to Conrad, but further from Maeve, who he’s now come to realize isn’t actually his grandmother.

“[The] level of confusion he has towards Maeve when he finds out he’s not related to her, but she says they’re gonna be the king and the queen…I think that is absolutely terrifying,” Boon told Entertainment Weekly in a season 1 post-mortem. “Is he gonna trust Maeve, like he has done for the whole of his life?”
The question of who to trust is likely going to hang heavy over MobLand season 2, as the family is only going to splinter that much more.
That extends to Conrad and Maeve, who independently see themselves as puppet-masters of the Harrigan clan.
“It’s kind of a malevolent, merry dance that they’ve played all their lives,” Brosnon told EW. “They both have a passionate lust for the dangers of life, and they repeat the same toxic dance that has now reached a point that it’s out of control.”
He added, “But he trusts no one, and he certainly doesn’t trust her. He may say that he does… but he loves her. They love each other.”
Another twisted relationship in the world of MobLand is the one between Harrigan fixer Harry (Hardy) and his wife, Jan (Joanne Froggatt). While season 1 ends with her accidentally (?) stabbing him with a kitchen knife, Froggatt told TV Insider that she believes the wound could be “the start of a sort of reconciliation for them.”
“I think Harry is the absolute love of her life,” she said. “She just wants a bit more. She just wants him to notice her. That’s all she really wants. And if she gets that, she can put up with everything else… It’s Harry or no one for her.”
Who’s in the MobLand season 2 cast?
Luke Varley/Paramount+
No official casting announcements have been made thus far, but season 2 of MobLand will likely see the returns of the lucky souls who endured season 1. That includes Brosnan, Mirren, Considine, Boon, and Hardy, the latter having only survived the finale by the skin of his teeth.
Brosnan, whose Conrad triumphantly grabbed his crotch while marching through gen pop in the final moments of season 1, is especially excited about season 2.
“The future is golden for [Conrad],” he told EW. “He’s gonna get out of prison and hunt down the little s—bags who did him injustice.”
Other cast members likely to return include Froggatt (Jan), Lara Pulver (Bella), Jasmine Jobson (Zosia), Mandeep Dhillon (Seraphina), and Janet McTeer (Kat).
