This week, AMD and Microsoft made official their partnership for the next Xbox consoles. This multi-year contract will see the semiconductor manufacturer supply chips for these machines.
After Xbox President Sarah Bond, AMD CEO Lisa Su took the floor in a short video. She welcomes the collaboration and outlines its details.
"We’re designing a complete roadmap of gaming-optimized chips, combining the power of Ryzen and Radeon for consoles, handhelds, PCs and the cloud. And we’re doing all this with an emphasis on backward compatibility."
The two brands will work hand in hand to bring the best experience possible to gamers.
