Diana Ross, 80, Wows Sold-Out Brooklyn Crowd, Says She’ll ‘Never Retire’


*Diana Ross is proving that age is just a number as she continues to captivate audiences around the world.
The iconic singer, now 80, delivered two sold-out performances at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on Feb. 28 and March 1. As part of her ongoing world tour, Ross delighted fans with a powerhouse setlist and reassured them that she has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
“I’ll never retire,” said Ross, according to the New York Post.
The concerts served as a tribute to her legendary career, featuring a mix of timeless hits. After the Brooklyn shows, Ross shared a video of highlights on Instagram.
“The Brooklyn shows were like a party! It was so wonderful to make new memories with everyone at @kingsbklyn,” she captioned the post.

“I love performing with my daughter @therhondaross and was so happy to see my son @realevanross and grandson Raif,” added the superstar who will celebrate her 81st birthday on March 26.
Ross kicked off a series of tour dates last month in Highland, California. The Motown superstar performed on February 14 at the Yaamava Theater. She then played two shows in Brooklyn, NY, with a show in Davie, Florida, on March 21.
Ross will perform a string of dates in the United Kingdom and Europe from June 22 to July 13.
“Stay tuned as more shows will be announced for 2025,” she teased on her website. “I love you.”
