According to new rumors, AMD is working on the Ryzen 7 9700F, an 8-core processor based on the Zen 5 (Granite Ridge) architecture, but without integrated graphics.
This model would have the same features as the Ryzen 7 9700X, with 40 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 65 W. Frequencies may differ, however. The absence of integrated graphics means that no video output is available via the processor, but this has no impact on configurations with dedicated graphics cards.
The price would be between $250 and $300, positioned between the Ryzen 5 9600X (~$180) and the 9700X (~$300). Several recent AGESA and BIOS updates suggest that the launch could take place in the next few weeks.
