Last October, we got a first glimpse of Hawthorn, a new sandbox RPG created by former developers from BioWare, Naughty Dog and Bethesda. They have all come together within NEARstudios to give birth to the project.
But for this to happen, the game will need to raise at least $200,000 through its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter that opened this week. There are several levels set, including one at $2 million, which will allow Doug Cockle (the voice of Geralt in The Witcher) to join the game’s main story.
