When Is The Met Gala Goin’ Down?

According to Vogue, red carpet arrivals will likely start around 5:30 p.m. ET, and the livestream will officially kick off at 6 p.m. ET. What’s This Year’s Theme?
The Los Angeles Times also shared that the theme and spring exhibit will be “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” The gala’s theme matches the Met’s upcoming exhibit, which opens May 10 and runs through October 16. The inspiration comes from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book, “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.”
What’s The Dress Code Givin’ This Year?
The Met dropped the news back in February that this year’s dress code is “Tailored For You.” The Met made it known that it’s all about menswear vibes. Furthermore, Vogue also broke it down, saying the theme is meant to guide folks while still letting them flex their own creativity.
