Teresa Giudice Explains Interview Controversy –

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice went viral earlier this month after hanging up midway through a news interview after one of the news anchors asked her about her IRS debt.
Teresa says that Larry Potash and Robin Baumgarten were told by her management prior to the interview not to ask her about her financial troubles.
“Anytime I go on any TV show, whoever gets me on the TV show tells them, ‘Don’t talk about this, don’t talk about that, don’t talk about this, don’t talk about that.’ And of course, they agreed to it. They agreed to it, but this person decided not to obey by the rules,” she said on Turning the Tables.
Teresa and her husband, Luis Ruelas, are facing significant financial challenges due to outstanding tax debts exceeding $3 million. The reality star previously served an 11-month prison sentence in 2015 for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud.

Some fans called Teresa out for not answering their question, but Tre says she decided to follow legal advice given to her by her attorneys.
“So this is what I have to say to that,” she continued. I know he was trying to get a rise out of me, and I was not gonna give that to him, and that’s why I chose to end the call. The interviewer wasn’t respectful, the tone, the way things were asked, he crossed the line . He totally tried to derail [the interview] and was so disrespectful, and I was just like, ‘I’m not doing this.””
